gorillaz is the fucking best music that has ever blessed this cursed world. i love the band, i love the fandom, i love the music, i love damon albarn, and i love jamie hewlett. when i was younger i didnt know what it was, but people would always yap saying my drawings kinda looked like them (i never personally saw it though but thats flattering jamie is a fire artist and animatior). this is my tribute to the amount of love i have for them.

2D (face ache): twink ah singer/keyboard-ist (what the fuck do you call someone who plays keyboard?) cool facts i know abt him: hes an pain killer addict and all that due to his head aches and stuff. fell from a tree when he was a kid knocked out all of his hair, and it grew back blue. bros just built diffrent like that. how'd he join the band? murdoc tried to rob the stor he was working in, ran him over, and was forced to take care of him. then he woke up from his coma, murdoc acted like his savior, and then proceeded to run over him again. (how he lost his eyes) phase 1 thru like 3 just sucked for the poor guy, like murdoc showed up, ran him over, fucked his girlfriend, and then kidnaped him.

Murdoc (green pickle goblin 2.0): hes lowkey an ass most of the time, but hes my favorite. i relate to him in a lot of ways and understand what he's been thru with his shitty dad and sa and all that. hes also lowkey hot in phases 1-3. he helped me learn not to regret my mistakes, just move on and move forward from them. his crashout is vaild. i love his overall vibe too, durning the begining phases he has a more crust punk rockstar vibe to him, while in the more recent phases he acts like a silly older dad. also "DA BATHHH". murdick pickles is peak.

Noodle (asain axe princess):PEAK BADASS FIGHTING AWESOME BADDIE SUPER COOL. SHE IS SO FUCKING TOUGHHHHHH! deadass though, noodle is a fucking baddie. shes what inspired me to start learning guitar. her lore is also COOL AS FUCKKKKK. Like hell yeah vroski! her glow up was prominent as well, and she was the cutest when she was a kid. she is the coolest ever. its also funny you can tell damn well she was rasied by murdoc. murdoc is the best dad lowkey. he was a bit... intresting at the start, but they both have grown so much. i love them.

Russel (taxidermy schizo): russels just a chill guy bro. just kinda vibing. bro lowkey crashed out hallucinating the grim reaper and shit in phase 2, but the random swag dude in new york helped em and then he had fun with taxidermy. that was a while a go hes (sorta) more evened out. besides him tweaking in the cracker island music video. other than that he is the most chill out of all of the group. i lowkey miss del though, hes one of my favorite characters, i wish he could make a comeback but i doubt that would happen.

fav albums

  • - lowkey one of the most fire albums, it was perfect for a comback as well. it was made 7 years after the fall, back in 2010 (When i was born!!) my fav songs from it are prob busted and blue, shes my collar (ik clique idc), and submission. humanz in gen was just amazing for the fandom, cause imagine tons and tons of news and magizines talking about gorillaz spilting, damon and jamie themselves talking about poss stopping making music. then BOOM BAM 2017 SHOOTS AROUND AND THEY DROP ABSOLUTE HEAT. it also created a doomsday scenerio in witch trump won (and holy shit he did... AND DID IT AGAIN IN 2024 WERE SO COOKED) and that was like a bittersweet anxiety inducing concept yet insiring at the same time. i understand that now that i am older- cause at the time of this album being released i was a seven year old goon living in holy hellville (aka my birthparents). The album should've came around much more this year, cause i had a huge relation to this album with the emotional aspect this year. I broke down when i found out trump won again and found solace in this album. it should definetly get more love, it is amazing.
    • - we all know what an absolute dumpster fire yet glitter bomb this was. it was peak in all catagories, lore, art, MUSIC, singles, character development, MUSIC VIDEOS... everything was so lit yet it FLOPPED like when your trying to flip a pancake and it folded in on itself. it gets mych more love than it did back in the day, but even now a lot of people forget most of the songs. (i mean they also do that with demon days grrrrr) i fucking love it tho... IT DESERVED A FULL BLOWN MOVIE... everyones yapping about gta six but im waiting for hte gorillaz movie vro..
      • – Oh hey Ace Couplar wtf you doing here? the now now was heat. WTF did they say all evil ass menacing shit "uhhh no murdoc no features blahahahhahaha" - tottally real quote... guess where murdoc was during this phase JAIL like the SEWER RAT HE IS (love you murdoc). And so Ace Couplar from powerpuff girls just kinda exsisted there now, taking murdocs place temporarliy. and lowkey everyone fucked with it (except murdoc ofc). 2d got a whole ego, positivity boost all that, and on top of that im pretty sure he got bitches. he realized that his role as the singer in the band was the most important and couldnt be replaced (unlike murdick pickles). i dont really remember whyyyy murdoc was in jail i need to reread the lore page... i do remeber it had to do with some funky god or shit that lived in ice or something, so Noodle whent to the god to be like "bruv why'd you do that?" and then murdoc got out of jail after he learned it WASNT the god. this part is my fav father daughter moment, murdoc went to the artic to save noodle cause he though she would die there, and had like a letter on him begging for the god to let noodle go and how he considered her his daughter yattayatta, but turns out the god was lowkey chill drinking tea with noodle and they saved murdoc and went home :3
